As a fourth generation Realtor, I grew up watching my mother Pam, Aunt Terri and Grandmother Jean work tirelessly for their Real Estate clients. The same passion for Real Estate was recognized early and at the age of 23 I began my career in Real Estate. I started, and have continued, as a part of the Coldwell Banker family since 2000 and have worn several different hats in that time. As an agent, my team and I have closed over $12 million in volume each year and are recipients of numerous Presidents' Elite, Presidents' Circle and Sterling awards for excellence in service and sales production.
In 2004, I made the transition from Sales Associate to Management and was hired as Managing Broker of the then Coldwell Banker Cherry Creek office, comprised of over 150 agents. We were recognized as being one of the most productive offices in the Coldwell Banker system and as a leader I earned a position in the elite President's Advisory Counsel. I was able to pass my knowledge of Sales, Marketing and Closing techniques onto other agents and spent much of my time helping new and experienced agents achieve their full potential and goals.
In the summer of 2007, I made the decision to return to sales after three years of managing and found the transition back to sales a natural fit. Being an active Realtor truly encompasses my passion for the industry and client care. I have a vast knowledge of marketing residential properties and negotiating on behalf of buyers and sellers, as well as major experience with nationwide Relocation clients. It is always a pleasure to work with a newcomer to Denver and show them all of what the Mile High City has to offer. I also have an investing background in Real Estate and am a partner of an investment company with my brothers and step father called Barr Legacy Investments.
I have been a member of the National and Colorado Association of Realtors, as well as a member of the Aurora and Denver Board of Realtors since 2000. In July 2007, I was nominated and elected to a Director position on the Denver Board of Realtors by my peers and was elected President of DBR for 2010-2011 term. I look forward to strengthening and building relationships in the Denver community for years to come.
I enjoy free time with family, friends and anything to do with sports and cooking...and eating. I try to find a golf course to roam as much as I can and attend as many home team (Denver) sporting events as possible, but I find myself spending a great majority of my time doing something productive in Real Estate.

As a Denver native, I bring a vast knowledge of the Denver metro area real estate market to the Knoll/Meier Realty Group. I have over 10 years of experience as a Real Estate Appraiser and Real Estate Broker and currently hold a Certified License in both. I am very detail oriented and methodical when it comes to my appraisal and real estate practice and have extensive training and experience in the appraisal and valuation business.
Along with holding a Certified Residential Appraiser License for the state of Colorado, I am FHA approved and have experience appraising thousands of properties including Single Family Residences, Condos, 1-4 Multi Family Units, REO, Relocation and Manufactured properties along the Front Range from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs.
My experience in residential sales includes listing detached single family homes, condos and investment properties as well as working extensively with first time buyers, move up owners and investors with differing goals. I have been a party to several home rehab projects on homes that we currently cash flow as rentals and I enjoy getting my hands dirty on home improvement projects.
My wife Shannon, who has been in the Mortage and Finance industry for several years, and I have two energetic boys named Cooper and Brady who keep us on the run and very active. We live in beautiful Parker and spend time working in the yard, at sporting and school events for the boys and I play in a men’s baseball league when I am not working or with my family.
